Emmetten is located in the canton of Nidwalden, in a quiet, elevated position on a pre-alpine terrace at 774 m above sea level, above the southern shore of Lake Lucerne. The popular city of Lucerne is about a 20-minute drive away and offers numerous activities, such as a visit to the Chapel Bridge and city center, the Swiss Museum of Transport, the lido, or a hike up Mount Pilatus.
The Gotthard Pass is about 70 kilometers away. Via the breathtaking pass or through the tunnel, you can quickly reach Ticino. Ideal for a short day trip to Switzerland's Little Italy.
The nearest airport is Zurich Airport.
The surrounding nature offers all guests numerous outdoor opportunities, from biking to hiking and paragliding in the summer, and tobogganing, skiing, or snowshoeing in the winter.
In Emmetten, there are two cable cars that take you either to Niederbauen or Stockhütte. The valley station of the Emmetten – Stockhütte gondola is approximately 400 meters from the apartments. Both mountains offer wonderful hikes and unique views of Lake Lucerne and numerous mountain peaks.
